Select the Unearthly Excavation map and around different parts of the map you will find multiple sand traps with teeth. Start picking up and throwing 100 items into the sand traps. Once you have thrown 100 items into the sand traps it will unlock the achievement.
The sand traps do often spit items back out but that doesn't affect this.
