Either Marc Perez (in chapter one) or Alla Zima (in chapter five) needs to remove Gabriel's restraint. Teng Lei needs to dodge.
In the final chapter, Teng must bargain with Gabriel for the cure. Arguing "self-interest" works, other dialogue options may also work. (It doesn't matter what the general told her to do in the previous scene.)
