I threw a bunch of dark seeds on top of each other on the top of the accelerator and I started spamming D-pad down rapidly (changing between protoplasm and green glue) and spraying on the pile. After a while, some were created and the achievement popped.
But a lot of people have issues with this achievement, everybody tells that their way is the best. For me it seems totally random when the game says it was successful.
